『いくらですか？』『どのくらいかかりますか？』って、英語でなんて言いますか？難しそうで実は簡単な表現です。さあ、始めましょう！

How much (money) … ? How many (people)… ?とか言いますよね。

How + 形容詞 (+名詞) … ? で表します。（What is … ?という言い方もありますが今回は Howを使った言い方）

【長さ/時間】

『ここからダウンタウンまで列車でどれくらいかかりますか？』

  * How long does it take by train from here to Downtown? 

『結果が出るまでどれくらいかかりますか？』

  * How long will it take to get the result?

• does : 『あらかじめ決まっているスケジュール』を聞く場合、  will : 『予想』を聞く場合

『フライト時間はどれくらいですか？』

  * How long is the duration of the flight?

『どのくらい飛行機の時間、かかったのですか？』

  * How long did your flight take?    

『どのくらいカナダに住んでいますか？』

  * How long have you been living in Canada?

• 現在完了進行形「継続」

『どのくらい（の期間）カナダに住んでいますか？』

  * How long have you lived in Canada?

• 現在完了形「期間」

『カナダに来てどのくらいになりますか？』

  * How long have you been in Canada?

• 現在完了形「期間」

『どのくらいカナダに滞在する予定ですか？』

  * How long are you staying in Canada?

• 現在進行形「予定」

『何日間カナダに滞在する予定ですか？』

  * How many days are you staying in Canada?

【長さ/距離】

『一番近くの駅までどのくらいの距離ですか？』

  * How far is it (from here) to the nearest station?

『一番近いビーチまで何キロありますか？』

  * How many kilometres is it (from here) to the nearest beach?

“ kilometre”（英語）、”kilometer”（米語）

【数/個体】

『1日にタバコをどれくらい吸いますか？』

  * How many cigarettes do you smoke a day?

『その料理は何人前ですか？』

  * How many people does it feed? / How many people does the dish serve?

【量/液体】

『このワインは何c.c.ありますか？』

  * How much c.c.is this wine?

『どのくらい食べますか/飲みますか？』

  * How much would you like to eat / drink?

『彼はあなたよりどのくらい年上ですか？』

  * How much older is he than you are?

【値段】

『いくらですか？』

  * How much is it?

『どのくらい費用がかかりましたか？』

  * How much did it cost?

『この家はどれくらいしましたか？』

  * How much did you pay for this house?

【重さ】

『どのくらい重いですか？』

  * How heavy is it?

『それは何キロですか？』

  * How many kilograms / kilos is it?

『このスーツケースの重さはどれくらいですか？』

  * How much does this suitcase weight?  /  What is the weight of this suitcase?

『あなたの体重はどのくらいですか？』

  * How much do you weight?

【高さ】How tall / high

  ◎ tall : 「人」や細長い物、high : 広義の  「大きい物」

『彼はどのくらいの身長ですか？』

  * How tall is he?

『今、高度はどのくらいですか？』

  * How high are we (flying)?

【広さ/大きさ】How big / large / size

  ◎ big : 主観的に「大きい」「重要なこと」  large : 客観的に「広さ、長さ、分量の大きさ」

『この土地はどれくらいありますか？』

  * How big is this piece of land?

『ピザはどのくらいの大きさですか？』

  * How large is the pizza?

『どのくらいの大きさの靴を履きますか？』

  * How size shoes do you wear?

『どのくらい空腹？』

  * How hungry are you?

『どのくらい食べられる？』

  * How much can you eat?

【広さ/幅】

『この川の幅はどれくらいありますか？』

  * How wide is this river?

『カナダの総面積はどれくらいありますか？』

  * How wide is the total space of Canada?

【程度】

『あなたの車はどのくらいの損傷を受けていますか？』

  * How badly damaged is your car?

『彼女はどのくらい英語が話せますか？』

  * How well can she speak English?

『彼がどのくらい勉強したかあなたは知っていますか？』

  * Do you know how hard he studied?

【年齢】

『あなたは何歳ですか？』

  * How old are you?

【深さ】

『この湖の深さはどれくらいありますか？』

  * How deep is this lake?

【厚み】

『その板の厚さはどれくらいありますか？』

  * How thick is the board?

【味】

『このケーキはどのくらい甘いですか？』

  * How sweet is this cake?

『このカレーライスはどのくらい辛いですか？』

  * How spicy is this curry and rice?

【速さ】How fast / early

  ◎ fast : スピードの「速度」、early : 「時間」や「時期」の早さ  

『クマはどのくらいの速さで走りますか？』

  * How fast does the bear run?

『どのくらい早くここに来れますか？』

  * How early can you get here?

【回数】

『一週間にどれくらい彼女に会いますか？』

  * How often do you see her a week?

『月にどのくらい図書館に行くのですか？』

  * How many times a month do you go to the library?

『今まで何回カナダに行きましたか？』

  * How often have you been to Canada?

ようするに文の構成は、”how +「形容詞」+(「名詞」)+「動詞」+「主語」…? / 「主語」+「動詞」… .” で構成されているので形容詞の変更だけですね。
